Janet C. (Weast) Summers

Janet Summers, age 80, of Alliance, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2019, at Mercy Medical Center.

She was born September 11, 1938, in Alliance, Ohio, to William Earl and Audrey (Fox) Weast.

A 1956 graduate of Marlington High School, Janet lived in the Alliance area her whole life and was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Roger Summers, whom she married June 24, 1956; children, Cindy Case, Brenda (Lyndin) Merrick, Linda (Robert) Stevens and Steve (Catherine) Summers; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and brother, Richard Weast.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16th, 2019, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. Nancy S. Manner officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 15th and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.

Interment will be held at Marlboro Cemetery.
