Janice J Guest

Janice J. Guest, age 99, passed away peacefully at Crandall Medical Center on December 2, 2020.

She was born on June 13, 1921 to Eugena and Theresa (Giesberger) Goff in New Salisbury, Ohio.

Janice graduated from Minerva High School in 1939. She was the owner of the Former Lincoln Dairy Sugar and Spice and Minerva Wine and Beer.

Janice was a member of Union Avenue United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #296 and a lifetime member of the BPOE auxiliary #467, the VFX auxiliary and the American Legion auxiliary. Janice was also involved in the Art Club, Republican Club, and the Senior Center. She was the former President of the Elks Widows Club.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Dr. F. Eugene (Carol) Guest of Pennsylvania; 8 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren; many great-great grandchildren; two nieces; and one nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clinton Frank Guest, whom she married December 21, 1942 and who passed in 1985; her son, Larry Guest; and her sister, Norma Lorenz.

A graveside service will be held on December 7 at 1:00 p.m at East Lawn Cemetery in Minerva.
