Janice M. (Burson) Scott

Janice M. (Burson) Scott, age 77, of Alliance, passed away at 9 a.m., Sunday, April 28, 2019, at Altercare of Alliance.

She was born April 15, 1942, in Alliance, Ohio to John and Juanita (Brady) Burson.

An Alliance High School graduate, Janice was formerly employed as a cashier at the former Jays Market and Green Farms.

She was a member of the Vine Street United Methodist Church and loved raising her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Rondal Scott of Alliance, whom she married April 28, 1962; siblings, John Burson, Juanita Burson, Merry Braden, Mark Burson, all of Alliance, and Dino (Sharon) Burson of Louisville; four grandchildren, Jenna Lynn, Matthew, Tyler and Jordan; and her dog, Blue.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Dan Scott and Jon Scott; and siblings, Danny Burson and Bonnie Graboski.

Services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.  Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
