Janie Marie Valentine age 50 of Alliance, died Sept. 12, 2004 at the Ohio State University Hospital as the result of an accident.
Janie was born July 14, 1954 in Alliance, Ohio to Thomas and Viola (Jacobs) Valentine.
She graduated in 1972 from Marlington High School and was a lifelong Alliance resident.
Survivors include one son Jerry Walter of Alliance, one brother Jim (Jane) Valentine of North Canton, one sister Cathy (Jim) Hoff of Marlboro, two nieces Samantha Riordan of Marlboro and Rae Valentine of North Canton, one nephew Thomas Valentine of North Canton, step-father Robert Rupp of West Chicago, Illinois and step-mother Donna Valentine of Alliance.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Marlboro Christian Church with Pastor Ed Carter officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Cystic Fibrosis.
