Jean Louise Brown

Jean Louise Brown, age 92, of Alliance, passed away at 1:55 p.m., Thursday, March 16, 2017 at McCrea Manor.
She was born December 22, 1924 in Alliance, Ohio to J. Gilbert and Bernice (Heacock) Heacock.
Jean was a graduate of Alliance High School and received her RN degree from St. Luke's School of Nursing. She was employed by Dr. Baker and Fitzelle for 20 years as an RN and she retired in 1989 as an office nurse.
She was a member of First United Presbyterian Church and the Auxiliary of Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War.
Survivors include her son, Mark K. Brown of Alliance; great-nephew, Ron G. Ebersole of California; great-niece, Marianne Pullella of Oregon and her two children.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Arthur J. Brown, whom she married July 24, 1948, and who passed away October 15, 1963; two sisters, Rhea Ebersole and Wilda Heacock, who passed away at age six; and nephews, Duwaine L. Ebersole and Dale R. Ebersole.
Services will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Monday, March 20, 2017 at 11 a.m. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be held at Quaker Hill Cemetery in Sebring, Ohio.
