Jean Weber, age 76, of Homeworth, died at 11:10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009 at her home.
Mrs. Weber was born Feb. 29, 1932 in Parma, Ohio to Frank and Sophia (Rembacz) Diglis. Jean retired from Catalano's after working as a Meat Wrapper.
She was a member of Science Hill Community Church.
Survivors include her children; George R. (B.J.) Weber of Lyndhurst, John S. (Denise) Weber of Mayfield Heights, Kathy (Mike) Sanderbeck of Homeworth, and Jim D. (Diane) Weber of Aspen, CO; grandchildren, Jennifer (Ed) Kuzma, Melissa (Ron) Salvador, Meghan Weber, Chris (Farrah) Weber, Heidi (David) Unterberg, Kelly (Laverne) Brubacher, Michael (Rachel) Sanderbeck, Brian Sanderbeck, Lori (Jared) Sommers, Jim Weber, and Kerry Weber; 11 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Freida Patterson, of Howard, Ohio.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul E. Weber, whom she married Oct. 22, 1950, and who died in June, 2005; one brother and four sisters.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday Feb. 18th at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home at 75 S. Union Ave. Alliance, with a service to be held at 8:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 20th at Science Hill Community Church at 12316 Beeson St. NE, Alliance, both with Rev. Jonathan Truax officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Hills Burial Park in Canton.
