Jean M. Ziccardi, age 72 of Alliance, died unexpectedly at home on Saturday, July 16, 2011.
She was born December 8, 1938 in Buffalo, New York to Charles and Stella (Mynarska) Eberhardt.
Jean was a member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include one daughter, Lori (Todd) Wick of Louisville, one son, John (Angela) Ziccardi Jr. of Ravenna; five grandchildren, Kalie, Austin, Tanner and Carter Wick, and Jenna Ziccardi; one brother, Charles Eberhardt; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John J. Ziccardi, who died Dec. 18, 1996, and two sisters, Carol and Rosie.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2011 at Regina Coeli Catholic Church, 663 Fernwood Blvd., with Fr. Michael Seifert officiating. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home.
