Jeanette Faust, age 86, of Alliance, formerly of North Dakota and Wyoming, died at 8:10 a.m. Friday, November 21, 2008 at Altercare of Alliance.
She was born January 24, 1922 in Williston, ND, to Benjamin and Petra (Hovind) Innis and was an Alliance resident for the past twelve years after moving from Wyoming.
Jeanette was a 1940 graduate of Williston High School and was employed as a clerk at Campbell County Abstract Company in Gillette, WY until her retirement.
She was a member of Alliance Church of Christ, enjoyed crocheting for her family and friends, was very humorous, and was a wonderful cook.
Survivors include her sons, Charles B. (Maxine) Faust of Battlefield, MO and Joe Clifford (Connie) Faust of Marlboro, OH; 4 grandchildren, Allison Wood of TX, Jeffrey Faust of MO, Benjamin Faust of MN, Abigail Faust of OH; four great-grandchildren, Sheridan and Brenner Wood, both of TX, Julia and Madison Faust, both of MO; and many nieces and nephews.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Trinley Faust Jr. whom she married May 9, 1943 and who died August 15, 1988; and two brothers, Benjamin and James Innis.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Alliance Church of Christ, 9371 McCallum Ave. with Pastor Matt Lowe officiating. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home and from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Interment will be at Blackhills National Cemetery in Sturgis, SD.
