Jeanette E. Mohr, age 93, of Alliance, died at 2:20 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at Community Care Center.
She was born September 11, 1918, in Alliance, to Russell Ruff and Vera (Walker) Ruff.
Jeanette graduated from Alliance High School in 1937, attended Alliance Business College and formerly worked for Universal Cooperatives.
A lifetime member of the First Christian Church and its Dorcas class, she was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Alliance Senior Center and the senior center's bridge club.
She is survived by her son, Richard (Mary) Boyce of N. Royalton; daughters, Diane (Dan) Bard of Sun Lakes, AZ and Cheryl (David) Ott of Alliance; eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; first husband Willis R. Boyce who died May 1982; second husband, Park I. Mohr, who died November 2002; brothers, Charles Ruff and Gerald Ruff; and sister, Kathleen Ward.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2012, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home, co-officiated by Pastor Pam Bruno and Sue DeHoff. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be held at Alliance City Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church Building Fund, 1141W. Beech St., Alliance, Ohio, 44601.
