Jeannette Margerite Klossner age 93, of Alliance, died at 3:30 p.m. August 20, 2007 at her home.
She was born September 16, 1913 in Alliance, Ohio to Walter and Bertha (Cargill) Venables and was a lifelong resident. Mrs. Klossner attended Canton Beauty School of Cosmetology.
Jeannette is survived by several nieces and nephews; and lifelong friend and caregiver, Mary Jo Fast.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert E. Klossner who died in 1988; sisters, Mildred Peroz and Elizabeth "Betty" Horton; brothers, John, Richard and Robert Venables.
Private services were held Thursday at Fairmount Memorial Park with Reverend David Hostetler officiating.
Jeannette had a special love for boxer dogs. She rescued many from shelters and had many as pets in her life. Memorial contributions may be made to Angels for Animals, 4750 State Route 165, Canfield, Ohio 44406.
Arrangements are by Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home, Alliance Ohio.
