Jeannette McGowan Schultz, age 92, of Louisville, died at 6:10 p.m. Monday, May 19, 2008 at St Joseph's Assisted Residence in Louisville, Ohio.
She was born August 31, 1915 in Kansas City, Kansas to Arthur O'Neil and Frances (Cope) McGowan.
Jeannette was of the Protestant faith and was a former beautician, homemaker and Life Member of the Eastern Star.
She and her late husband of 65 years, Carl Conrad Schultz, whom she married December 13, 1936 and who died in February of 2001, resided in Kansas, Illinois, Arizona, Arkansas and Kentucky before settling in Ohio in 1998.
Jeannette is survived by her daughter, Bette (Matthew) Schreiner of Salem, IL; son, Carl Jr. (Andrea) Schultz of Alliance; four grandchildren, Bonnie Gunther, Caren Davis, Carl III and Steven Schultz and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Sue Ellen; brothers, George, Edward, James and Arthur; and sisters, Frances and Mary.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. She will be laid to rest in Kansas City with her husband, Carl.
