Jeffery Slaggy

Jeffery James Slaggy, age 39 of Alliance, and formerly of Port St. Lucie, Florida died July 15, 2004 in Canton, Ohio.
Jeffery was born February 22, 1965 in Alliance, Ohio to Charles and Livia (Pascu) Slaggy.
A graduate of Fort Pierce High School, he attended the University of Florida, and was a self-employed contractor for J&S Construction Company in Canton. Jeffery enjoyed writing music, poetry and playing his guitar.
Survivors include his wife Grete Heim-Slaggy of Alliance, his father Charles and stepmother Karen Slaggy of Massillon, his mother Livia and stepfather James Duncan of Port St. Lucie, Florida, brother Charles J. Slaggy of Massillon, sisters Jodi (David) Hampton of Port St. Lucie, Fla., Kelly (Brian) Harris of Port St. Lucie, Fla., and Kristy Woods of Massillon, Ohio; brothers Dennis (Donna) Dunn of Akron, Ohio and William (Deb) Dunn of West Point, New York, mother-in-law Anna Heim of Alliance, and paternal grandfather Charles F. Slaggy of Canton, Ohio, many nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles.
Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday with Pastor Stephen Kimm of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Canton officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Monday.
