Jerry L. Hone

Jerry L. Hone, age 58, of Alliance, passed away at 1:58 p.m., Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at Aultman Hospital.
He was born September 21, 1956, in Houston, Texas, to Robert L. and Janet (Gregor) Hone.
Jerry was a 1975 graduate of Alliance High School. He was a self-employed painter.
A Navy veteran, Jerry enjoyed playing pool, golf, and watching the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns. He traveled to Florida for both work and enjoyment.
Jerry had a deep appreciation for art and formerly attended the First Church of God.
Survivors include his parents; sons, Justin (Erica) Hone of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Ryan (Amanda) Hone of Alliance; grandchildren, Emma and Easton; brother, Rev. Dr. Michael D. (Kelly) Hone of Hickory, North Carolin; three nieces; and a special uncle, Jim Gregor.
He was preceded in death by his infant brother.
Services will be held at 4 p.m., Sunday, September 13, 2015, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Michael D. Hone officiating. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Western Reserve National Cemetery.
