Jerry H. Messenheimer

Jerry H. Messenheimer, age 67, of Alliance, passed away Monday, September 10, 2018, at Community Care Center.
He was born November 9, 1950, in Alliance, Ohio.
Jerry was employed by the Joliet Workshop in Canton and was a member of Pine Lake Christian Church in Sebring.
He enjoyed music, NASCAR, bowling and Cleveland Sports.
Survivors include his siblings, Kerry Messenheimer of Alliance, Lorie Applegate of Beloit, Bill (Penny) Kent of Sebring and Dan Kent of Canton; and two nieces and three nephews.
He was preceded in death by his biological father, Ronald Messenheimer; stepfather, Jerry Kent; parents, Charlotte (Paul) Mollenkopf; and a nephew.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, September 14, 2018, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, September 13, at the funeral home. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
Jerry's family would like to extend a special thank you to Alliance Community Hospital ICU, Group Home of Alliance, Community Care Center and Alliance Hospice for his care.
