Jerry D. Williams

Jerry D. Williams, age 79, of Alliance, passed away at 12:56 p.m., Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at Alliance Community Hospital. She was born June 22, 1936, in Mobile, Alabama, to Jerry Evans Jr. and Nora (Miller) Evans. Jerry was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing, gardening and cooking and played basketball in high school. Survivors include her children, Jessie Evans, Ernest Williams, Tyree Williams, Larry Williams and Wanda Williams; and a host of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brothers; sisters; nieces; and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Joshua Williams, who died in 1990. Services will be held at Noon Monday, June 20, 2016, at New Beginnings House of God with Pastors Bobby Williams and Joyce Williams officiating. Friends may call the hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
