Jerry L Yoder

Jerry L Yoder age 79, of Alliance, passed away at, Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at Community Care in Alliance.

He was born March 27, 1941, in Milford, Delaware to Homer and Nancy (Bontrager) Yoder.

Jerry graduated from Marlington High School in 1959.  He retired in 1997 as a supervisor for the Timken Company of Canton after 31 years of service.

He was an avid sports fan, specifically the Cleveland Indians. Jerry also enjoyed golf and classic cars. He was a long-time member of the Alliance Elks. Jerry’s family was always his first priority.

Survivors include his wife, Linda S.(Baum)Yoder of Alliance whom he married May 1, 1961; daughter Kimberly K. Yoder of Fairview Park, Ohio; son, Matthew T. Yoder of Alliance; brothers, Dale Yoder of Sarasota, Florida, Harold Yoder or Hartville, Ohio; sisters, Mary Hilmer of Hartville, Ohio and Verda (Bob) Miller of Lancaster Pennsylvania; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents, and sisters; Ruth Ann Yoder, Elizabeth Yoder, Ada Sommers, Ruby Coblentz and Rosa Moshier; and brothers, Paul Yoder and  David  Yoder.

Family will hold a memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Aultman Alliance Hospice.
