Jesse J. Carver, age 83, of Deerfield, passed away at 1:20 p.m., Tuesday, November 1, 2016, at his home.
He was born August 17, 1933, in Yale, Ohio, to Jesse L. and Maude (Bartholomew) Carver.
He was a 1951 graduate of Southeast High School and Institute of Electronics.
Jesse was employed with B & W Tubular Products as an electric foreman for 28 years retiring in 1984.
He was owner-operator of Willow Creek Ingersoll Garden Tractors and a lifelong farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Doris E. (Basinais) Carver, whom he married July 20, 1952; son, Larry (Cathy) Carver; daughter, Laura (Brian) Lindberg; granddaughter, Michele (Rimon) Daoud; two great-grandchildren, Matthew and MacKenzie; and a niece, Linda Caughey.
Jesse was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Matthew; and brothers and sisters, Richard, Clifford, Donald, Amy and Evelyn.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, November 5, 2016, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Bishop Brian Saxey officiating with eulogy by Rev. Robert Mix. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday. Interment will be at Deerfield Cemetery.
