Jessie F. McGaffick, age 66 of Alliance, died at 11:39 a.m. November 9, 2006 at Mercy Medical Center.
She was born April 16, 1940 in Knox Twp. to Samuel John and Garnet May (Francis) Donohoe Sr. and was a lifelong resident.
Jessie was a member of Alliance Baptist Temple and a 15 year member of Smith Grange.
She is survived by her husband, Benjamin W. McGaffick, whom she married in 1964; son Benjamin Carl McGaffick of Alliance; daughters Bertha Irene (William) Shafer Jr. of Sebring, Peggy Helen (Scott) Brown of Windham and Cindy Sue McGaffick of Alliance; six grandchildren; brother Glenwood Harry Donohoe of Kent and sisters Viola Rose Peters of Alliance, Dorothy May Barringer of Little Hocking, Elizabeth Margaret Salisbury of Alliance, Edna Belle Donohoe of Alliance and Beverly Jean Dibble of Akron.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Samuel John Donohoe Jr. and John Christian Donohoe; sisters Mary Eldora Baker and Beatrice Gaynell Bolton and infant twin sister and brother Samuel J. and Mary Jane Donohoe.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Alliance Baptist Temple with Pastor Randy Payne officiating. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Monday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
