Joan Katharine Carr, age 83 of Alliance, died at 10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, 2005 at McCrea Manor Nursing Center.
She was born Oct. 12, 1922 in Cleveland, Ohio to Charles Pierce and Faith (Blackburn) Ingersoll.
Mrs. Carr graduated from Crestline High School and attended Baldwin-Wallace College.
Survivors include two daughters, Katharine (William) Morris of Alliance, and Elizabeth Carr of New Glouster, Maine, one son, Peter (Faith) Carr of Bucksport, Maine, 11 grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Private graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lakewood Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lakeside Foundation, Lakeside, Ohio.
