Joan (Robusch) Kirk

Joan Kirk, age 82, died peacefully surrounded by her family November 6, 2016, at the Canton Regency.
She entered the kingdom of her Lord on All Saints Day and her late husband's birthday.
Joan was born July 9, 1934, in Salem, Ohio, to Lloyd and Vera (Mellinger) Robusch.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her true love and husband, Guy H. Kirk Jr.; and her sister, Shirley Field.
Joan leaves behind her children, Guy H. (Periann) Kirk III of Alliance, Amy (Rick) Michalkiewicz of Gahanna, Ohio and Sue (Bob) Wynkoop of Canton; grandchildren, Katie (Shane) Morrison, Kyle Kirk, Blake and Tyler Wynkoop and Lindsay and Anna Michalkiewicz; and great-grandchildren, Andrew and Ellie Morrison.
Joan was an active member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church and served as Secretary of Church Council, Chairman of the Evangelism Committee, Grief Group and Habitat for Humanity. She was a member of the House and Garden Club and Tennysonian Book Club. Her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, November 11, 2016, at St Paul's Lutheran Church in Alliance with the Rev Timothy Muse officiating. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., on Friday at the church. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
