Joanne J. Kupfer, age 64, of Canton, formerly of Alliance, died at 4:00 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2008 at Affinity Medical Center in Massillon.
She was born May 7, 1943 in Beaver, Co, PA to Julius and Bridgette (Harkins) Zaleski. She attended St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Joann enjoyed her family, loved taking care of her granddaughter, enjoyed traveling and listening to Elvis Presley music.
Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth Kupfer of Massillon; one granddaughter, Charlene Lock of the home; three brothers, John Zaleski of Pittsburg PA, Julius (Sandra) Zaleski of Alliance, Thomas (Ruth) Zaleski of York, PA; one sister, Suzanne Williams of Little Rock AK; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one daughter Charity Ann Kupfer.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the family.
Private Services are to be held at a later date.
