Joanne E. Leeman

Joanne E. Leeman peacefully returned to her heavenly Father, Saturday, June 13, 2015 when she died at her home.
She was born December 23, 1933 to John and Bessie (Stouffer) Snyder in Wadsworth, Ohio, and she had been a lifelong area resident coming to Alliance from Wadsworth in the 1950's.
She was a graduate and class Salutatorian of Wadsworth High School in 1952. Joanne was also a faithful and active member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Alliance. She will be remembered as a generous caregiver to the poor, a lover of aesthetics, and had been a fine artist.
Left to thank God for her life and treasure her memory are her ; daughters, Lynn Leeman of Buffalo, New York and Kimberly Leeman of Boise, Idaho; son, Mark (Anne) Leeman and grandchildren, Josiah, Of Columbus, Ohio, Samuel and Maria both of Cincinnati; a sister, Carol Carlson, and a brother, Don Snyder both of Wadsworth.
Her husband, Charles A. Leeman, whom she married in 1956, died in 2010. She is also preceded by her parents.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at the First United Presbyterian Church with Pastor Jim McCurdy officiating.
