Joanne Rita Linihan

Joanne Rita Linihan (nee Schmidt) passed away peacefully January 1, 2023 after decades of fighting several illnesses.

Joanne was born on January 20, 1944 in New York to Annette and Louis Schmidt. She married John Michael “Mike" Linihan on October 13, 1967. They raised 4 sons on Long Island, New York. Eventually they relocated and then retired in Alliance, Ohio.

Joanne will be remembered for her strong faith, her love of animals, her creativity, her sense of humor, and her amazing dedication to her family.

She is survived by her sister, brother, husband, 4 sons, 16 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
