Jody E. Hensley, age 52, of Alliance died at 4:45 a.m. Friday, December 23, 2011 at his home.
He was born March 13, 1959 in Lawton, Oklahoma to George and Emma (Cothren) Hensley.
Jody attended Alliance High School and was formally employed by Whitacre Greer in Alliance.
An avid fisherman and NASCAR fan, Jody also enjoyed visiting Kentucky, spending time with his friend Danny and attending the Jamboree in the Hills. If you ever talked with 'Skidrow' on the C.B., that was Jody's handle.
Survivors include his mother; twin sons, Chad and Dale Hensley both of Alliance; twin grandsons; one brother, Bruce (Carol) Hensley of Alliance; five sisters, Cathie (Joseph) Kurpil of Alliance, Georgia (James Jr.) Eberling of Damascus, Connie (Geno) Young of North Carolina, Jennie Hensley of Alliance, and Sue E. (Mark) Bishop of Alliance; and several nieces and nephews.
Jody was preceded in death by his father; and brother.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday December 28, 2011 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Mikesell, Calvary Pentecostal Church Sebring, officiating. Family will receive friends two hours prior to the service, at the funeral home.
