John W. Goshorn age 77 of Alliance died at 7:50 p.m. Nov. 14, 2005 at Aultman Hospital.
He was born Nov. 19, 1927 in Moultrie, Ohio to William and Mae (Wiley) Goshorn Sr. and was a lifelong area resident.
A member of Marlboro Christian Church, he was a member of Moose, Eagles, and missions committee of the church. Mr. Goshorn enjoyed traveling and camping.
He was employed by Sancap, retiring in 1986, after working for more than 50 years as a machine operator.
Survivors include; sons Gary DePrill Sr. and W. Perry McMillin, Kevin Goshorn, all of Alliance, and Jonathan Goshorn of North Canton, daughters Karen Henry of Dover, and Cindy Cross and Brenda McPherson, both of Alliance, 18 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Mr. Goshorn was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Clara Binion Goshorn, in 1969, twin infant daughters, one granddaughter, Jennifer one grandson Chris, and his second wife, Joann, in 2003.
A Memorial Service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at Marlboro Christian Church with Pastor Ed Harnish officiating.
