John R. Reeder

John R. Reeder, age 60, of Alliance went home to be with the lord on September 26, 2021.

He was born on September 28, 1960 in Alliance to Russell V. and Shirley (Gabbel) Reeder Jr.

John graduated from Alliance High School in 1979 where his love and skill for auto mechanics started in their vocational program. He loved listening to music while driving his classic cars and was most proud of his red 1972 Cutlass. John loved to cook and was quite the experimentalist in the kitchen.  John had a compassionate, tender heart for people in pain. He also loved his cat, Smoky and dog, Sampson and was a great son, brother, uncle, friend and husband.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Pamela (Syme) Reeder, whom he married on July 1, 2006; his father, Russell V. Reeder Jr.; sisters, Terri L. Loar and Pamela S. (Rick) Beadles of Salem, OH; step-children, Chuck B. Smith of North Canton, OH, Scott A. (Kristen) Smith of Winesburg, OH, Rachel L. (Mike) Campbell; eight grandchildren, Knowah, Kaylee, Maci, Katie, Scotty, Carter, Adalynn, and Aubrie; two nieces, Sarah (Michael) andMelissa (Glenn); nephews, Daniel (Jennifer) and Joshua (Jicole); great-niece, Lilliana; and great-nephew, Peyton.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley and a brother-in-law, Steve C. Loar.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
