John J. Yoho Sr., age 64 of Beloit, died at 11:22 a.m. May 2, 2006 at Aultman Hospital.
He was born March 26, 1942 in Moundsville, West Virginia to John N. and Daisy (White) Yoho and lived in the Alliance area for the past 40 years.
John worked as a millwright at Transue and Williams for ten years. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren, and playing the guitar, especially blue grass music.
John is survived by his wife, Linda (Rickman) Yoho, whom he married in 1965; his mother, Daisy Yoho of Alliance; daughter, Linda (Rex) Billiter of Southington; sons, John (Susan) Yoho Jr. Of Alliance, and David (Beth) Yoho of North Benton; daughter, Michelle (Jerry) Emplit of Alliance; grandchildren, Kimberley (Adam) Pugh, Rex Billiter Jr., Sarah and Nathaniel Billiter, Ashley, Jessica, and John Yoho, Elizabeth and Tyler Yoho, and Miranda, Michael, and Samantha Emplit; close friend, Jake Wagner, brother, Bob (Nellie) Yoho, and sisters, Wilma Foley, Rose Stancato, and Joann Stevie.
He was preceded in death by his father, brothers, Chris Yoho, and Burl Yoho, and sisters, Hazel Lucas and Florence Myers.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Don Nicely of the New Hope Church of God officiating. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Friday. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
