Jon Maxine (Pelley) Boso

Jon Maxine (Pelley) Boso, age 71, of Atwater, went home to be with her Lord at 7:20 a.m., Friday, April 22, 2016, at University Hospital Portage Medical Center.
She was born September 30, 1944, in East Liverpool, Ohio, to Clarence and Maxine Pelley.
She graduated from East Liverpool High School in 1962 and married her husband, William F. Boso in 1963 and they enjoyed 52 years together.
Jon was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was active in her church, teaching children and singing with the Worship Team. She was well known and loved by many and will be missed.
Survivors include her loving husband, Bill; daughter, Patricia (Frank) Callesen of Akron; grandson, Nathan K. Kline; son, James M. Boso of Atwater; sisters, Pat Moore of Woodville and Marian "Peg" Workman of Toledo; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Pelley; and son, William F. Boso Jr.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at Alliance Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Glen Davidson officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, April 25, 2016, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Interment will be at Atwater Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jon Boso Memorial Fund at Alliance Church of the Nazarene 1345 S. Arch Ave. Alliance, OH 44601.
