Jordan D. Holsopple, age 19, of Canton, Ohio, died at 8:43 a.m. Friday, November 19, 2010, as the result of an automobile accident.
He was born January 10, 1991 in Alliance, Ohio to Mark A. and Nancy A. (Barker) Holsopple.
Jordan graduated in 2009 from Choices High School.
An avid Halo player, known as "TPG Gorkin", Jordan also enjoyed working on electronics.
He will be greatly missed by many, especially his Mom, Nancy A. Holsopple of Canton, his Dad, Mark A. Holsopple of Daytona Beach, Florida; his sister, Ashley D. Holsopple (Tara Bauer) of North Canton; his maternal grandmother, Juanita Barker of New Philadelphia, many aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends who called him "Sop-Daddy". He will also be missed by his best friend, his dog, Akira.
Preceding Jordan in death were his maternal grandfather, Stanley C. Barker, and paternal grandparents, Forrest M. "Woody" and Marie M. Holsopple.
Services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Daniel Downer, Jordan's Uncle officiating. Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home, 75 S. Union Ave., Alliance, Ohio 44601.
