Josef Teppert, age 86, of Alliance, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2017.
He was born December 23, 1930, in Fillipono, Yugoslavia, to Anton and Maria (Jesch) Teppert.
Josef worked as a blacksmith at Canton Drop Forge retiring in 1996, and also at Transue & Williams since 1984.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Josef is survived by his sons, Joseph (Julie) Teppert Jr. of Louisville and Ernest (Georgia) Teppert of Latrobe, PA; daughter, Tamara (Rob) Corke of Alliance; seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Michael, Natalie, Steven, Alexandra, Arielle and Alivia; five great-grandchildren, Bradyn, Sophia, Zayne, Kellan and Arlette; siblings, Frank, Ferdinand, Ernst, Resi and Marie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Raissa Teppert, whom he married July 7, 1956, and who died December 11, 2010.
Private family services will be held.
