Joseph A. Arnal Jr., age 68, of Alliance, passed away at 11:30 p.m., Thursday, February 16, 2017, at his home.
He was born April 20, 1948, in Salem, Ohio, a son of Joseph and Marjorie (Nemitz) Arnal Sr. and had been a lifelong area resident.
Joseph was a 1966 graduate of Alliance High School and had been a retail store manager for many years. He was a member of the Berlin Center United Methodist Church.
He was a former member of the Eagles Club in Alliance, and an avid Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns fan. He enjoyed fishing, boating and antique and muscle cars.
Survivors include his wife, Patty (Jordan) Arnal, whom he married June 19, 1982; two daughters, Jayne Arnal and Michelle Cosma, both of Alliance; a son, Joseph (Jennifer) Arnal III; a brother, William (Sherry) Arnal of Mount Vernon, Ohio; sister, Patricia (Dennis) Criss of Alliance; five grandchildren, Ashley, Amber, Dakota, Brandon and Josephine and five great-grandchildren, Emelia, Liam, Braydon, Jaycee and A'Rya.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 25, 2017, at the Berlin Center United Methodist Church with Pastor Mark Vincent officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the church.
