Joseph M. Peters

Joseph Michael Peters, age 60 of Alliance, died at 1:15 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 10, 2006 at the Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Center.
Born Aug. 12, 1946, he was a 1964 graduate of Alliance High School and a 1965 graduate of Akron Barber College. He owned and operated Three Shears Barber Style on Main St. in Alliance until 1985, then worked at Midwest Fireworks in Deerfield, retiring in 2000 due to health reasons.
He is survived by his son Michael Joseph Peters of Alliance, his daughter Michelle (Scott) DiGiovanni and his three granddaughters, Jessica, Ashley and Jacqueline of Shelby Twp. Michigan, and his sister Carol (Don) Frerichs of Shaker Heights, OH.
He was preceded in death by his parents Edgar J. and Corenne V. (Morgan) Peters of Alliance.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Joseph A. Peters officiating.
