Josephine L. "Josie" Nobis age 85, of Alliance, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018, at Danbury Assisted Living.
She was born June 10, 1933, in Berlin Center, Ohio, to the late Joseph L. and Leora (Yarian) Kaley and was a longtime resident of Louisville and Canton, Ohio and Warren, Pennsylvania.
A 1952 graduate of Marlboro High School, she attended comptometer school and was employed for 15 years at Hoover Company and retired after 30 years from Timken Company.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, including Gloria (Dennis) Snider of Alliance, Evelyn Davis of Atwater and Gary (Twyla) Weingart of Florida.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Clara Weingart, Nellie Bradway, Mary Gayman, Thelma Porter and Desma Simon.
