Joy D. Schneider

Joy Darlene (Rickeart) Schneider age 78, of Alliance, passed away at 3:05 a.m., Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at Aultman Compassionate Care.
She was born July 5, 1939, in Frazeysburg, Ohio, to Glen and Dehlia (Cunningham) Rickeart. Joy was a high school graduate and employed as a seamstress.
She was a member of the Beechwood Christian Church, loved animals, horseback riding, and birdwatching, especially the cardinals and hummingbirds. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles.
Her survivors include her husband, Richard Schneider, whom she married May 25, 1973; children, Cecil Neel of Arkansas, David (Monika) Schneider of Alabama, Logan Neel and Bart Neel, both of California and Christian Schneider (Thomas) Graves of Ravenna; grandchildren, Anthony Neel, Brandon Neel, Kimberly Beard, Brandy Shalda, Kayla Murray, Charles Murray and Alexander Schneider; great-grandchild, Ethan Neel; and a sister, Carolyn Ardrey.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Patty Ann, Jimmy, Wayne and Glenna Jean.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Black officiating. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, December 26 at the funeral home. Interment will be at Frazeysburg Cemetery in Frazeysburg, Ohio.
