Joyce E. (Springer) Nagy, age 62, passed away at 12:00 a.m. January 17, 2010 at her daughter's home with her family by her side after a courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
Joyce was born January 28, 1947 in Alliance, Ohio to Robert and Donna (Elliott) Springer and graduated in 1965 from Alliance High School.
A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Joyce enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her four young grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Louis W. Nagy, whom she married October 16, 1965; daughter, Lisa (Jeff) Wallace of Salem; son, Adam (Kelsey) Nagy of Canton; four grandchildren, Whitney Jo and Elise Wallace, Will and Luke Nagy; and sister, Sherry (Tim) Callahan of Ravenna.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Robert Springer.
A Memorial Service will be held 7:00 p.m. Thursday, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Chaplain David Parry officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park at a later date.
