Joyce E. Vickers

Joyce E. Vickers, age 74, of Hartville, passed away on May 11, 2022.

She was born on April 13, 1948 in Canton to Robert Earl Goshorn and Iona J. Kohl Goshorn.

Joyce graduated from Marlington High School.  She enjoyed flowers, fishing and crafts, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Iona Risley; her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, Terry D. Vickers, who she was married to for 54 years (November 25, 1967); her children, Tina (Rich) Wilson, Dean Vickers, Lee (Angela) Vickers and Ryan Hartshorne; her grandchildren, Tyler (Emily) Wilson, Parker, Logan, Conner, Kaitlyn, and Nicole Wilson, McKayla, Madison, Mason and Marshal Vickers; one great-grandson, Braxton Terry Wilson; and siblings, Cynthia Hartshorne, Diana Kindler, Victor Vickers, Darlene Gobley, Dick Vickers, Sherry McCracken, Sandy Bean, and Russell Vickers.

She was preceded in death by her father; brother, Robert E. Goshorn Jr.; sister, Darlene Shellenberger; and brother-in-law, Jack Gobley.

A funeral service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Sunday, May 15th at 2:00 p.m. with a visitation two hours prior. Ernest McCracken will officiate.
