Joyce F. (Firth) Porter

Joyce F. Porter, age 83, of Alliance, passed away at 5:45 p.m., Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Green Meadows Health and Wellness Center.

She was born August 8, 1936, in Moultrie, Ohio, to Harold and Wilma (Baker) Firth.

Joyce enjoyed playing cards, was an avid reader and loved to travel. She especially loved being with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Michael John Porter and Elizabeth Ann (Carl) Peterson, both of Alliance, Virginia Faye Lewis of North Port, Florida, Steven James (Tracy) Porter of Jacksonville, Florida and Joy Lynn (James) Ludt of Salem; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her former husband, James L. Porter and sister, Peggy.

Per Joyce’s request, there will be no services.
