Judith Rae Zingg

Judith Rae (Hahlen) Zingg, age 78 of Alliance, passed away at 9:45 a.m. Friday, November 27, 2020 at Bel-Air Care Center.

She was born May 10, 1942 in Alliance, Ohio to William and Clara (Kovach) Hahlen.

A 1960 graduate and Cheerleader at Alliance High School, Judy was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

She was formerly employed as a Secretary at State Farm Insurance, Secretary to Alliance Police Chief Cowan, Administrative Director for the Arizona Veterinary Board, and Secretary at American Steel Foundries.

Judy was a member of Cosmopolitan, IOTA Sorority, and Alliance BPOE #467; she was an avid reader; and in the mid 50’s, was a Cleveland Browns Cheerleader.

She is survived by her husband, Walter Zingg of Alliance; sons, Brian (Sonya) Zingg and Michael Zingg, both of Glendale, Arizona; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Catherine, Eric, Olivia, and Ella Zingg; sister, Jeri Koufos of Alliance; special god-daughter, Jaime (Garrison) Anglin of Gilbert, Arizona; many nieces and nephews, and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Noon on Friday December 4th at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home.

Interment will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
