Judy A. Denny, age 81, passed away on July 5, 2024 at home with her family by her side.
She was born on November 15, 1942, in Pensacola, FL to James and Dorothy (Shobert) Robison.
A graduate of Mount Union College, Judy spent her career teaching mathematics and computer science primarily at Marlington High School. She loved working with the children and was known for her kindness, gentle approach and smile.
She was a member of Union Avenue United Methodist Church, Alpha Xi Delta sorority and the Women’s Club. Judy was family and faith focused and was the light and strength of her family.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Dawn Denny and Wayne V. (Amy) Denny, Jr.; grandchildren, Madeleine, Megan and Caroline Denny; and siblings, James Robison, Jr., Susan Bauer, Dorothy ‘Dottie’ Smith and John Robison.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Dr. Wayne V. Denny whom she married in 1964 and who passed away in 2023.
Per Judy’s wishes, no services will be held.
The family thanks the local Aultman Hospice team for their loving care and assistance.
