Judy Keirn Wearstler, age 64 of Alliance, died at her home at 12:25 p.m. Wednesday April 14, 2004.
Mrs. Wearstler was born January 4, 1940 in Warren, Pennsylvania to Philip and Ruth English Keirn. She graduated from Alliance High School, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Mount Union College.
Mrs. Wearstler taught at Alliance City Schools for ten years, and retired from Minerva Local School District after teaching there for 21 years.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Alliance.
Survivors include her husband, Paul David Wearstler, whom she married in 1960, her mother, Ruth Keirn of Copeland Oaks, two brothers; David Keirn and Alexis of Alliance, and Ronald Keirn and Susan of Alliance, one sister; Linda (Edward) Brutto of Alliance, several nieces and nephews, and two sister-in-laws; Dorothy (Ernest) Linsmaier, and Mary Wearstler, both of Alliance.
She was preceded in death by her father in 1982, her daughter Ann, in 1982; and her brother-in-law James Wearstler.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday April 24 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church with Pastor Gordon Thomas officiating.
Following cremation, burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park.
