Julian "Jude" Williamson, age 70 of Minerva, passed away at 8:20 p.m. Friday, March 19, 2010, at Aultman Hospital.
He was born February 10, 1940, in Pleasants County, West Virginia to Paul and Marie (Fitzwater) Williamson.
Jude was the Owner of Williamson GMC Trucks and Towing since 1972.
A member of the Minerva Church of Christ, Jude was active in many areas of the church, including heading the sled riding parties, serving at communion services, and snow plowing.
He formerly enjoyed scuba diving, and currently enjoyed boating, deer hunting, fishing and camping.
Jude was a generous and caring person, who will be loved and missed by his friends; including his wife, Linda L. (Stout) Williamson, whom he married May 20, 1960; son, Brian (Heather) Williamson of Minerva; daughter, Sandra (Scott) Dragomir of Minerva; grandchildren, Bianca, Ian, Ashley, Derek, Dillon and Brandon; great-grandchildren, Shane, Aidan and Nadia; and brother, Gale (Sue) Williamson of Alliance.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 23, 2010, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Marty Martin of the Minerva Church of Christ officiating. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Moultrie Chapel Cemetery.
