Julie Zamagias, loving mother, sister, and aunt, entered into the gates of heaven on November 6, 2022.
She was born August 7, 1955 in Alliance, Ohio to Stephen M. and Norma Jean (Aquilo) Zamagias.
A 1973 graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School, Julie graduated from Mount Union College in 1977. She worked as Office Manager for Aid Pest Control after retiring from Bel Air Nursing Home.
Julie was a true advocate for the elderly and the Alzheimer Association. She was the 1st Female President of the Ohio Jaycees, and had been active with the Alliance Chamber of Commerce, the Carnation Days in the Park, and a Meals on Wheels driver.
She will be forever loved and missed by her family, including her son, Adam Clapper, of Canton, her sisters, Stephenie (Dave) Skolosh of Alliance, Michele (Steve) Valentine of North Canton and Alicia (Jeff) Davis of Canton; her brother, Steve (Anna) Zamagias of Cincinnati; nieces and nephews, Anthony, Matthew, Daniel Zamagias, Aaron, Andrew, Joseph, and Nicholas Valentine, Rachel, Rebecca, and Kevin Davis, Lynsey (Todd) Bricker, Haley (Sam) Hake, and Carli, Ali, Lacey, and Kinslee Bricker.
Preceding her in death were her parents.

Family and friends may visit from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, November 10th at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with interment to follow at Alliance City Cemetery.
Julie’s service will be live-streamed and can be viewed at the bottom of her obituary on the funeral home's website.
