June Nutter

June C. Nutter, age 81, of Alliance, passed away at 6:15 a.m. December 17, 2009 at Alliance Community Hospital. She was born Sept. 5, 1928 in Chester, West Virginia to William Thomas and Wilda Elizabeth (Davis) Nutter. A graduate of Bergholz High School, June was formerly employed at Alliance Rubber. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church; life member of the Metropolitan Opera Guild and Community Concert and supporter of the Cleveland Orchestra. Survivors include her sister, Lois J. Nutter, of Alliance; three nieces and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Margaret; and brothers, William, James, Chester, and Jack. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Donald Feicht officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church. Arrangements are by Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home.
