Junior E. Stewart

Junior E. "John" Stewart, age 74, of Anniston, Alabama, died at 3:21 p.m. Sunday, February 22, 2009 in Alliance at his daughter's home.
He was born, October 1, 1934, in Tyler County, West Virginia, to James Edward and Dessie (Bilter) Milburn Stewart.
John was a member of the Church of Christ and an avid hunter and fisherman. He retired from Weirton Steel Division in 1989.
Survivors include his children, Linda (Bill) Powell of Alliance, David (Dotti) Stewart of Springfield, Missouri, and Rodney (Gaye) Stewart of Weirton, West Virginia; one brother, Bert (Norma) Stewart of Weaver Alabama; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers; and seven sisters.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral home. Interment will be at Mt. Union Cemetery.
