Kallai P. Datha

Kallai P. Datha, age 60, of Alliance passed away at  4:55 a.m., Friday, August 9, 2019 at Aultman Hospital.

He was born March 31, 1959 in Canton, Ohio and attended Canton Public Schools.

A U.S. Army veteran, he was formerly employed as a truck driver for Creation Crafts.

Kallai was an active member of Maranatha Church. He enjoyed helping others, volunteering at Indian River in Massillon; and loved to make people smile. He was also active with the Alliance Men’s Challenge.

Survivors include his son, Kallai L. Datha, of Alliance; granddaughters, Kaylee-Jo and Alexandra; two brothers; one sister; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 16, 2019 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Caldwell officiating. Family will receive friends Friday morning from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service.

Interment will be at Forrest Hill Cemetery in Canton.  Memorial Contributions may be made to Marantha Church of God, 14289 Edison St. NE, Alliance, Ohio 44601.
