Karen A. (Troyer) Koehn, age 48, of Homeworth, died at her home at 6:30 a.m. Sunday, August 14, 2011.
She was born March 4, 1963 in Uniontown, Ohio to Andy and Irma (Sommers) Troyer.
Karen graduated from Lake Center Christian Day School, and was a member of the Church of God in Christ Mennonite.
Survivors include her husband, Leslie Koehn, whom she married April 28, 1985, children, Lance (Teresa) Koehn of Alliance, Shanna Koehn (Tyrelle) Yoder of Alliance; and Troy Koehn, and Clark Koehn, both of the home; siblings, Ben (Betty) Troyer of Uniontown, Mark (Mary) Troyer of Fredericksburg, Lloyd Troyer of North Canton, Rachel (Fred) Penner of St. Mary's Ontario, Canada, Luke (Lena) Troyer of Dalton, Edith (Tim) Buck of Fountain Run, Kentucky, Kathy (Kevin) Dirks, of Albuquerque New Mexico, Thomas (Janice) Troyer of Fredericksburg, and Ruth (Martin) Schmidt of Butler, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at the Church of God in Christ Mennonite, 5540 Bandy Rd. Homeworth, Ohio.
Calling hours will be held from1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Informal visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Interment will be at the church cemetery. Arrangements are by Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home, 75 S. Union Ave., Alliance, Ohio 44601
