Karen Ann Gentile, age 58, of Alliance, died at 4:12 p.m. April 4, 2007 at Alliance Community Hospital.
Karen was born Jan. 6, 1949 in Alliance to Don Wm. and Janice L. (Anderson) Ring and was a lifelong resident.
She was a 1968 graduate of Marlington High School and was a member of the Dante Allegra Society Club.
Karen is survived by her son, Shawn Gentile; two daughters; Kelly Gentile and Janice Gentile; all of Alliance, stepdaughters, Theresa Whipkey and Junell Whipkey of Cameron WV, 11 grandchildren, 6 great- grandchildren, sister, Pam Barber of Alliance and brother Don Ring Jr. of Sebring.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Joseph Gentile whom she married March 7, 1970 and whom died April 21, 1996, and stepsons, Steven Gentile and Michael Gentile.
Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Eric Crites of Malvern Christian Church officiating. Friends may call Monday from 7-9 p.m. at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
Memorial donations can be made to the Alliance Senior Citizens Center, 602 W. Vine Street, Alliance, Ohio 44601 or Alliance Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice 885 S. Sawburg Rd, Alliance, Ohio 44601.
