Karen McMaster, age 61, of Kent, passed away at 11 a.m., Monday, June 30, 2014 at Robinson Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 12, 1952, in Alliance, Ohio, to James and Marjorie (Wallace) McCallum. A lifelong area resident, she made her home in Brimfield Township.
A 1970 graduate of Marlington High School, she volunteered as a teacher's aide for Stow City Schools for ten years.
Survivors include three sons, James (Jennifer) McMaster of Charleston, SC, Christopher McMaster and Andrew McMaster, both of Stow; brother, David McCallum of Columbus; aunt, Betty Wallace of Homeworth; and granddaughter, Makayla McMaster of Charleston, SC.
She was preceded in death by her parents and aunt, Ellen Wallace.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, July 7, 2014, at Fairmount Memorial Park.
