Kathryn E. Lyons age 94 of Alliance died at 11:45 a.m. Friday at Alliance Community Hospital.
Mrs. Lyons was born February 12, 1909 in Alliance to Constant and Louise (Neiswanger) Marine. She graduated from Alliance High School, and was a lifelong Alliance resident.
She was a member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church, member of the Infant of Prague, and Altar and Rosary Society, Tannenhauf Golf Club, Westville Lake Country Club, and enjoyed bowling at Parkway Lanes.
She is survived by one daughter Mrs. Lloyd (June) Carlile of Alliance, one grandson Philip (Cindy) Carlile of Marlboro, one granddaughter Mrs. Jim (Lynn) Breit of Almena, Wisconsin, seven great grandchildren Kristy, Kevin Carlile of Marlboro, and Carrie, Jessica, Josh, Mandy and Catherine, all of Wisconsin, three great-great-grandchildren, two nephews and one niece.
Mrs. Lyons was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles William "Bill" Lyons, whom she married Dec. 16, 1927, and who died April 1, 1993, one sister Irene Colgate, and one brother John Marine.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Fr. Patrick Manning officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park.
