Kathryn Rita (Bollia) West, age 79 of Alliance passed away peacefully on Sunday June 25, 2006 in Aultman Hospital from a brief illness.
She was born July 4, 1927 in Maximo, Ohio to the late August and Olive (Miller) Bollia. Mrs. West retired from Molder Plastic after working for 20 years.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Harold E. West, whom she married Feb. 15, 1947 in Maximo, Ohio; five daughters, Sally (Dennis ) Sweitzer and Judy Snyder, both of Alliance, Kathie Snodgrass of Canton, Nancy (Kevin) White and Sherry (Grady) Jones both of North Carolina; grandchildren, Eric Sweitzer of Louisville, Ohio Rick Snyder Bob (Shay) Snyder, and Jake White of North Carolina; Kim (Ed) Lenzy of Massillon, and Dan Snodgrass of Dellroy, Ohio; 18 great-grandchildren; two sister, Marie Brown and Eileen Lane of Maximo; one brother, Robert Bollia of Boca Rotan, Florida; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Herbert and Charles Bollia, one sister, Betty Morrison, and one son-in-law, Edward Snodgrass.
Kathryn's wishes were to be cremated and no calling hours held.
